Property management in Sant Antoni de Calonge
This is our own town. Our office is on Avinguda Catalunya, and most of the houses we look after here are close to it. If something goes wrong at your house in Torre Valentina, we are already nearby.
What it covers
The town we work from, and the houses in it
Sant Antoni de Calonge is the coastal half of the municipality of Calonge i Sant Antoni, about three kilometres east of the old village. It runs along the shore between Torre Valentina and Santa Maria del Mar. Around 3,400 people live here all year. The town grew as a summer resort, and much of it is still empty outside the summer.
That is why owners here need someone to look after their property. A seafront apartment closed from October suffers from the salt air: window frames, metalwork and anything on a terrace facing the sea. A villa behind the town has pines and a pool to look after. In Treumal the plots are large and most neighbours are only there in summer, so a problem can go unnoticed for a long time. All three need someone with a key who checks regularly.
We keep your keys at the office, inspect on the schedule you choose, visit after bad weather when you ask us to, and carry out repairs with our own team. Because we are based in the town, we can deal with a burst pipe or a failed pump quickly, without days of arranging things from abroad.

The areas of Sant Antoni we look after
The town runs from the tower at one end to the Treumal woods at the other, and the type of building changes along the way. What your house needs from us depends on where it stands.
Torre Valentina
Named after the round coastal defence tower at its centre, a listed monument from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries. The urbanisation grew around it in the 1960s. Apartments and villas close to the sea, so salt and wind cause most of the maintenance work, rather than gardens.
Treumal
The wooded area at the south-eastern end of the municipality: holiday houses among the pines, with a few old farmhouses further inland. Around 1,300 people are registered here, so it is very quiet from November. Most of our work here is pools and gardens.
Comtat de Sant Jordi
A planned coastal urbanisation with its own hotel and chapel. A mix of apartments and houses, most of them second homes. Some properties share a community pool and some have their own, and it helps to know which one is your responsibility.
Mas Vilar de la Mutxada
Behind Torre Valentina, on the slope rather than the seafront. Detached houses on their own plots. There is less salt here and more pine, so the maintenance is different.
La Pineda
One of the inland urbanisations of the municipality, quieter and greener than the seafront. A garden can become overgrown in one wet spring if nobody cuts it, and that is the most common reason owners first contact us.
We are in most of these streets every week during the season and regularly outside it. If your address is not listed here, ask us. Usually we already pass it.

Inspections that suit a coastal house
We check what the sea affects first: window frames, metalwork, terrace fixings and anything the wind can lift. We also check the whole house on the schedule we agree, with an extra visit after bad weather whenever you ask for one.

Done by our own team, not subcontracted with a mark-up. Larger jobs are quoted first and you decide whether they go ahead.

What you need to know about the town
- Our office
- Avinguda Catalunya 8, in the centre of Sant Antoni. You are welcome to come in when you are here, and many owners do. Your keys are kept here too.
- Market day
- Wednesday in Sant Antoni, Thursday in Calonge. Useful to know when you plan your arrival and want the house stocked.
- The beaches
- The town beach runs along the whole seafront, with smaller coves at Cap Roig and Treumal at either end. Which one you are near makes a big difference to parking in August.
- Salt air
- Anything within a few streets of the sea corrodes faster than most owners expect. Hinges, railings, outdoor taps and air conditioning units are the usual problems. They are cheap to maintain and expensive to replace.
- Winter
- The town stays open in winter, but much of the seafront and most of Treumal is closed up. With the neighbours away, nobody will notice a leak at your house.
- Renting out
- In Catalonia a tourist licence is registered to the specific property, not to the owner. Ask us what applies to yours before you advertise it anywhere.

Questions owners in Sant Antoni ask
Your office is here. What difference does that make?
We are close by, so we can act quickly when something is wrong. If we find a leak during an inspection, we arrange a plumber rather than just send you an e-mail about it. You can also come into the office and talk to the person who has been in your house.
Do you manage apartments as well as villas?
Yes. Much of what we look after here is apartments near the seafront. They need less garden work and more attention to salt damage. We adapt the service to the property rather than sell one fixed package.
Can you deal with the community of owners for my block?
We look after everything inside your property and coordinate with the administrator on anything communal. Tell us what your community already covers, so you do not pay twice for the same work.
What happens if there is an emergency and I cannot be reached?
We stop the damage first and contact you afterwards. Turning off the water, securing the property or covering a roof cannot wait for an e-mail reply. Anything beyond making it safe waits for your decision.
