While you are away, someone from our team visits your house and works through the same checklist every time. Single visits from €69 + VAT.
What it covers
An empty house, checked on a schedule
Many owners on the Costa Brava are away for months at a time, and the house stays closed until they come back. Usually nothing goes wrong. When something does, nobody is there to see it.
A toilet cistern that keeps running, or damp behind a wardrobe after the first heavy rain, is a small job if it is found in the first week. Found months later, it can mean a high water bill or a wall that needs replastering.
We visit at times you choose and tell you afterwards how the house looked. If we already hold your keys, that is all we need. Inspections can also be part of our property management.

Leaks and damp
Ceilings, walls and corners, for leaks, damp and humidity, especially after rain.
Water, power and appliances
That the water and electricity work, and the appliances that stay connected while you are away.
Taps and toilets
Every tap and toilet, for drips and cisterns that keep running.
Doors, windows and shutters
That everything is closed and locked, and that no shutter has come loose.
Terraces, pool and garden
The outdoor areas, and the pool and garden where there is one.

If we already hold your keys, that is all. If not, you can drop them off at our office in Sant Antoni de Calonge.

Questions about property checks
What does an inspection cost?
A single inspection is from €69 + VAT. Regular inspections are paid by the month, and the price depends on how often we visit. Ask us for a price for your house.
How often should a house be checked?
That depends on the house and on how long you are away. Tell us both and we will suggest a rhythm.
Do you come after a storm?
Yes, if you ask us. Let us know after a storm, heavy rain or anything else you are worried about, and we will go and have a look. We do not do this automatically.
What happens if you find a problem?
We explain what it is and what it will take to fix. Once you agree, we arrange the repair. Anything beyond a small job is quoted first and waits for your approval.
How do I hear from you?
By e-mail, WhatsApp or phone, in your own language, whichever suits you.
In which area do you check houses?
Mainly around our office: Calonge, Sant Antoni de Calonge, Platja d'Aro, Castell d'Aro, S'Agaró and Sant Feliu de Guíxols. Is your house somewhere else? Just ask us.
