Since joining Quality Estates, Romy has quickly become an influential figure in our sales and rental department. Her exceptional talent for understanding client needs and closing deals has significantly boosted our sales and rental performance. What inspired you to join Quality Estates?
Fortunately, I have rolled into the company. After school hours I spent time in the office until we decided to get things real and started officially working at Quality Estates. I am very proud that I can continue the family business.
Can you share a memorable experience or moment from your time at Quality Estates?
I always look forward (and back) to our Christmas lunches with the entire company, where we spend time together and cherish on the hard and good work we’ve accomplished during the year.
How would you describe the work culture and environment at Quality Estates?
As my other colleagues already have described, as a family. The positive and welcoming environment encourages us to contribute on our best and feel energized and motivated.
What unique skills or qualities do you bring to your role in the company?
As I started helping in the office in my free time I learned much about every department of the company, which I think is good, I can always assist whenever necessary.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The satisfaction of the client makes you feel that the dedication and time invested is rewarded.
In your opinion, what distinguishes Quality Estates from other real estate agencies?
Some call it; A one stop shop, which is true. We can cover all the needs of the property and owners, from selling, rentals, maintenance, and much more.
How do you see Quality Estates contributing to the Costa Brava community?
I think after the past years, Quality Estates is very well known in the Costa Brava and the other way round, what helps to adapt well in any situation.
What kind of professional growth or development have you experienced at Quality Estates?
For me, the biggest step is to have achieved to be a professional real estate. Quality Estates gave me the opportunity to study and work at the same time.
Can you share a success story or an example of a particularly satisfied client you have worked with?
Every story is different, but I think for me the most important one is when I accomplished my very first sale. It made me very proud and excited for more.
How is Quality Estates adapting to changes and innovations in the real estate industry?
Quality Estates is always looking to improve and continue with the times that marks the real estate industry.
Where are you from originally?
I am from the Netherlands, Amsterdam.
What was your first job?
My very first job was in a restaurant, as a waitress.
What was your favourite subject at school?
I really enjoy languages, so when the opportunity is there to learn a new one, I’m the first in line.
What languages do you speak?
Dutch, English, Spanish, French, Catalan and a little German.
How long have you been living on the Costa Brava?
For 22 years already…
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spend time with family and friends and get to know new places.
Are there any exciting projects or plans Quality Estates is currently working on?

What do you enjoy most about living and working on the Costa Brava?
It’s a very beautiful area, and after 22 years we still discover new and unique places.
Can you share a fun or interesting fact about yourself that not many people know?
I don’t like cooking ;)
If you could sum up Quality Estates in one word, what would it be and why?
Booming! I think we can say after more than 20 years’ experience and growth we are rocking in the golden triangle of the Costa Brava.
